UkraineAid Summer 2026: Ambulances, Aid, and Hope Amid the Strikes

The war's most difficult winter has given way to summer, but the need is as urgent as ever. Ukraine continues its defensive war as Russia persists in launching missile strikes against its cities. The suffering continues.

Missiles and drones are pounding cities with increasing intensity, causing unimaginable destruction and loss of life. Hospitals are operating at their limits as they receive a constant flow of wounded civilians and soldiers. Families continue to endure the daily hardships and horrors of war.

Hope That Endures

Your partnership is making a difference. Despite the hardships of war, together we are serving vulnerable families—bringing comfort, offering hope, and helping save lives.

In this photo report, you'll see how your support brought humanitarian aid to Ukraine during early summer. A sixth fully equipped ambulance has now been delivered as well. Near the front line, every ambulance is more than a vehicle—it is a lifeline for the wounded.

An ambulance also represents crucial minutes in a rescue – it's time gained. Each one is equipped with life-saving medical equipment to treat the critically wounded, giving them the best possible chance of survival.

Aid is reaching the need

While these ambulances were being delivered, missiles and drones continued to strike Ukrainian cities. Every delivery is made under dangerous conditions, and the need is urgent. Our aid is reaching people whose lives depend on receiving help in time.

Why This Matters Now

Just five days after handing over an ambulance to a Kyiv surgical hospital, Russia launched its most devastating attack of the war on the city. Dozens of people were killed, and more than a hundred residents were injured. This is the reality your partnership meets head-on, again and again.

According to the United Nations, 10 million Ukrainians are suffering from PTSD and other forms of war-related trauma. The Recovery From Trauma book has now been published to help meet that need.

Heartfelt thanks for your valuable support for the people of Ukraine in their time of need this year. On June 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the nation to begin preparing for the coming winter without delay. Ukraine has only about six to seven months before winter arrives to ensure that families have the essentials they need—including reliable heating, the ability to prepare food, and the critical repairs required to make their homes livable.
