Thousands of additional wood-burning stoves ordered

Fireplaces are needed year-round in the cold concrete buildings in Ukraine. Russia has again started bombing Ukraine’s electrical grid and power plants. UkraineAid has received thousands of additional orders for stoves within the past few weeks. According to the authorities estimate, hundreds of thousands of families with children are in the danger zone. One stove can mean a whole family staying healthy, even surviving.

Along with the wood-burning stoves, we have delivered truckloads of firewood to some sparsely forested areas in southern Ukraine. On behalf of the Ukrainian families, a big and heartfelt thank-you for your help. The stove enables heat, cooking, and boiling water for the families. At the same time, it is a heat source by which damp clothes are dried.
