Aid arrives at a critical moment: 3,700 fire extinguishers for Ukraine
UkraineAid is delivering a total of 3,700 fire extinguishers to Ukraine in November and December. The need for firefighting equipment has grown sharply as Russian air and drone strikes ignite fires, especially at night, when rescue operations are most difficult and dangerous.
2,000 fire extinguishers for Zaporizhzhia as nightly fires intensify
The first shipment of 2,000 fire extinguishers has already been delivered to the Zaporizhzhia region. Drone and missile strikes continue to wreak havoc, with fires quickly spreading through damaged buildings. These extinguishers are critical tools for residents and volunteers, helping them contain flames and protect homes—and lives—before emergency services are able to arrive.
Aid extends to Kharkiv and Kherson
To strengthen safety amid ongoing attacks, additional fire extinguishers are being delivered to the Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Existing firefighting equipment is often insufficient or has been destroyed, so these new supplies will significantly improve the ability to respond quickly when fires break out.
