Thousands of fire extinguishers to Ukraine
Russia’s nighttime attacks have started fires in many cities and villages. Fire departments are overloaded, and they can’t reach every location in time. The strikes often happen at night, when rescue work is the most difficult. As you read this, UkraineAid has delivered over 3,000 donated fire extinguishers to Ukraine.
On December 7, 2025, a truck left with 2,000 more fire extinguishers, and another approximately 2,000 are still ready to be sent. The first 1,000 extinguishers have been delivered to the Zaporizhzhia region.
Next are deliveries to the Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions, which are under constant attack. Every extinguisher delivered is urgently needed. Fire extinguishers are often the first—and sometimes the only—tool available to stop fires when authorities can’t arrive quickly enough.
